ABOUT
Community of Practice is a monthly artist practice session currently held at Rogue Project Space at Rogue Studios, Manchester. Within each session, 1-2 artists present an aspect of their practice, research or ideas in progress to an audience of 8-12 artists. Audience artists provide discourse and feedback to the presenting artist through supportive open dialogue.
The name ‘Community of Practice’, refers to the book by Jean Lave and Etienne Wenger (1991) that describes how a group of individuals with common interests can develop professionally by sharing knowledge and experiences through storytelling and regular interaction.
